Storm Advice - THREAT IS REDUCED - parts of METRO SOUTH COASTAL and SOUTH WEST
A Storm Advice has been issued for parts of METRO SOUTH COASTAL and the SOUTH WEST.
The immediate threat has reduced however you need to be aware of potential hazards that remain after the storm has passed.
WHAT TO DO
Be careful of fallen trees, damaged buildings and debris.
Stay away from fallen powerlines, they are dangerous and should always be treated as live.
Look around your home, car and property for damage.
If damage has occurred and you are insured, contact your insurance company and take photos.
If your home has significant damage, like a badly damaged roof or flooding, call the SES for assistance with temporary repairs on 132 500.
If you do not have a plan, make one now on Emergency WA or in the Emergency WA app to stay safe in future emergencies.
STORM DETAILS
At 9:26 pm on Wednesday 27 May 2026 the Bureau of Meteorology advised severe weather has eased.
This warning is now cancelled.
North Walpole reported 18.4 mm in 30 min to 4:32 pm.
Sandalwood reported 38.2 mm in 2 hours to 6:35 pm.
Pinjarra South reported 32.6 mm in 1 hour to 8:34 pm.
ROAD CLOSURES AND CONDITIONS
Some roads may be closed.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully. Road information may also be available from Main Roads WA by visiting the Main Roads Travel Map, calling 138 138 or by contacting your Local Government Authority.
