Bushfire Advice - THREAT IS REDUCED - LAKE ARGYLE
A Bushfire Advice is in place for people travelling on Victoria Highway between Four Mile Community and Ngunulum Community (Cockatoo Springs) in LAKE ARGYLE in the SHIRE OF WYNDHAM-EAST KIMBERLEY.
WHAT TO DO
The threat of the fire has reduced however you should take care in the area.
Stay alert for potential dangers such as smoke and fallen trees and power poles.
If you do not have a plan, make one now on Emergency WA, or in the Emergency WA app to stay safe in future emergencies.
ROAD CLOSURES AND CONDITIONS
Roads have not been closed, however smoke will be visible over Victoria Highway.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully. Road information may also be available from Main Roads WA by visiting the Main Roads Travel Map, calling 138 138 or by contacting your Local Government Authority.
